Death in SJL: Alleged extortionist was shot dead by hitman

The man was shot dead early Wednesday morning in the San Juan de Lurigancho area.

Victim identified as Kevin Vega Lopez (27), had a criminal record for various crimes.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was walking down San Antonio Sucre Street in Huascar when a series of shots rang out. Later, one of the neighbors was able to see how the man was running away from the criminal zone on foot.
