A group of protesters were dispersed by members of the national police in Cusco Giron, Cercado de Lima, when they tried to enter Abancay Avenue as part of a new mobilization against the government Dina Boluarte And Congress of the Republic.

The protesters arrived in the afternoon at the intersection of Abancay and Huallaga Giron Avenues after troops allowed them to pass to the said intersection. However, another group of protesters advanced through the patch of Lamp towards the patch of Cuzco.

There they tried to go to Abankay Avenue; however, at that moment the police contingent pushed them back. Some people threw stones at the soldiers, who responded by throwing tear gas canisters.

At the intersection of Abankay Avenue and Huallaga Giron, up to five police barriers have been set up in addition to metal bars that impede progress towards the headquarters of the Congress of the Republic.

Protest

The demonstrators began to push out in the afternoon from the Plaza dos de Mayo, along with the police cordon that accompanied them. This move happened without any opposition.

This mobilization comes one month after 17 deaths were reported in the city of Puno in one day as a result of clashes that took place as part of protests against the government.
