Buses depart regularly from Yerbateros bus stationin San Luis, after unlocking central roadfound a team RPP News during the tour this morning.

Our correspondent reported that buses go to the central mountainous regions of the country, such as Wow And Huancayo.

The passengers are mostly people who had been planning trips since January but were unable to reach their destination due to roadblocks as part of anti-government demonstrations. Dina Boluarte.

“I am traveling to Wow. I was supposed to go in the first days of January, but because of this problem, I could not go,” the man commented a few minutes before boarding the bus bound for Hauja.

“I’m going to Huancayo, I bought a ticket just now, when the blockade was opened. I am going to visit Huancayo,” said the young woman.

There are also travelers arriving in Lima from the central highlands at the terminal. This is the case of Mr. Victor Ceballos, who arrived in the capital from Huancayo, but still has to go to Tacna.

“I’m from Huancayo, drove past last night. I’m going to Tacna. I’m flying to Jorge Chavez airport by plane, because there is no travel card in Ica or Arequipa. It’s more convenient for me to fly by plane, which is 300 soles, and I get rid of all the inconveniences,” he said.

It is worth noting that some agencies have claimed to be using alternative routes because there is a blockade in the Moroccan area, although this information has not been confirmed.
