Callao: Former teacher sentenced to life in prison for raping 13-year-old student

Juan Jose Rodriguez Cabanillas (45) was sentenced this Monday to life in prison for the rape of a 13-year-old student at the Almirante Grau school in the La Perla district of Callao. The event took place in 2012 after a long criminal process.

The guilty verdict was handed down in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure by the Second Highest Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Callao after proving that Rodríguez Cabanillas had committed a crime against a minor.
