Many travelers hesitate, not knowing if they will be able to board inter-provincial buses bound for the south of the country; due to blockades registered as part of anti-government demonstrations started last week.
Command RPP News arrived this morning at bus station on 28 July Avenuein La Victoria, noting that many passengers were stuck while others bought tickets with no guarantee that they would reach their destination.
“I live in Arequipa, I walked in Huancayo and I’m coming back. For this reason (demonstrations), I want to return immediately,” the woman commented.

Our correspondent reported that interregional buses they go to places like Tacna, Moquegua, Ilo and Arequipa; with prices around 90 soles.
Buses to the small south also leave normally: Ica, Cañete, Nazca and Pisco.
However, travel to Cusco, Puno and Juliaca, where strong demonstrations had taken place the previous day, were suspended.
