Extremely reserved, we know nothing or very little about him, who nevertheless often appears at the top of the list of the richest and most influential people on the planet. From October 29 to 50, he is the head of one of the world’s largest conglomerates and the Chinese Internet giant, Tencent. One hundred and twelve thousand employees work for this group, and its online applications and services are used by more than 98% of the Chinese population. WeChat, the mobile messaging equivalent of WhatsApp, has more than 1.2 billion users, mostly in China but with a strong push into South Asian markets as well.
