Twitter on Saturday updated its App Store app to start charging $8 for blue verification marks, Reuters reported.

According to iOS, other benefits of the update include “half as many ads”, the ability to post longer videos on Twitter, and a ranking priority for content quality.

An update on Twitter reveals that the new verification service will be available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Recall, earlier it was reported that Musk intends to pay for watching videos on Twitter.
