After the purchase is completed Twitter millionaire Elon Musk, According to official documents, both parties have officially requested a stay of the lawsuit in which the social network tried to force the acquisition, which was announced last week, according to official documents.

A lawyer for the world’s richest man sent a letter to the Delaware judge on Friday, noting that Musk completed the purchase on Friday under the terms of the April deal.

“In the light of this event, the defendants and Twitter agreed to withdraw their complaints and counterclaims” and propose to terminate the process, the document says.

Judge Kathleen McCormick must approve the lawsuit in order for the case to be formally dismissed.

Closing the media case

The operation has had several ups and downs since April, when the parties agreed to a $44 billion purchase, even with Musk’s attempt to back out of the process, citing the social media’s directors for failing to give him accurate information about the proportion of fake accounts on the platform.

The millionaire, by a court decision, had to complete the purchase by October 28, otherwise a lawsuit would begin. (AFP)
