A NASA lander registered a magnitude four earthquake on Mars on December 24 last year.
NASA spacecraft on Mars recorded the fall of two of the largest meteorites. This was reported by NASA.
According to scientists, two meteorites ranged from five to 12 meters in size, leaving craters with a diameter of about 150 meters on the Red Planet. The larger of the two space objects hit about 37 kilometers from InSight last December, creating a crater about 21 meters deep.
The experts also added that they recorded debris scattered at a distance of up to 40 km from the impact site, at the same time, ice was found around the crater.
Researchers noted that this is one of the largest craters observed in the solar system. There are many larger craters on the Red Planet, but they are older and older than any Mars mission.
It was previously reported that the Perseverance rover on the Red Planet recorded a solar halo.
