The Chinese company Xiaomi has introduced a robot called Mijia, which can be customized by assembling its parts like in LEGO. It was reported by the Transcontinental Times.

In particular, a new robot model can be transformed into a dog, ball, or other person by swapping modules. It is noted that it is aimed at children – the robot can be programmed using icons through a smartphone or tablet.

Mijia can also determine which movement will move its parts, or design reactions and functions depending on what its sensors pick up. In addition, the robot can be used as an alarm clock, alarm at the same time, it can individually greet each family member.

The Xiaomi modular robot is now available for purchase in China at a price of 3,599 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 513 euros.
