Coronavirus disease rates for the week reached 36,683 new cases. Compared to last week, this number is almost 13 thousand more. This was announced by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on its Telegram channel on Tuesday, September 20.
The agency reported that in the period from September 12 to September 18, 36,683 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine. Of these, children – 5,628 cases, medical workers – 869.
For last week:

hospitalized – 6,273 people,

death – 90,

recovered – 17,430 people.
From 12 to 18 September – 62,617 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. In particular, of all vaccinations made, 32.3% were the first doses, 7.9% – the second dose, 57.1% – the first booster doses, 2.6% – the second booster doses.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, 16,085,581 people have been vaccinated. Of these, 15,306,559 people received two doses, 2,090,796 people received the first booster dose, and 20,214 people received the second booster dose.
Recall that the number of patients with coronavirus is growing rapidly in Ukraine – about 37 thousand new cases of infection were registered last week, which is 50% more than a week earlier.
