At the end of June, 16.3 million fiber subscriptions (FttH, Fiber to the Home or optical fiber to the home) were registered in the country, i.e. 51% of the market for high and very high speed connections, (+ 11 points in one year);
In terms of deployments, the pace of operators remained strong during the second quarter, with 1.2 million additional premises connected to FttH.
In total, 32 million premises are now eligible for FttH offers in France, an increase of 16% in a year, the regulator said. The government has announced the goal of creating a fully fiber-rich France by 2025.
