NASA launched the Artemis 1 Mission to the Moon

As part of the Artemis 1 test mission, the Orion spacecraft will head to the Moon, where it will orbit for several weeks.

The SpaceLaunchSystem (SLS) launch vehicle is ready to travel to the Moon. This was reported by NASA.

It is noted that the launch is scheduled from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on August 29 at 08:33 local time (15:33 Kyiv time). The rocket will launch the unmanned Orion module into space to lunar orbit, after which it will return to Earth in October.

It was previously reported that NASA has released some images in preparation for the launch of the Artemis 1 mission to the moon.
