2023 general election in Denmark will be an unusual opponent: artificial intelligence.
A new political party called “Synthetic Party”. (Synthetic) seeks to participate in the next national elections. Curious? The whole program is designed AI.
government artificial intelligence
Synthetic was created as part of a protest against ignored questions and ideas. Artificial intelligence It was fueled by polls conducted among people who abstained from voting or simply marked themselves as zero during the 2019 election.
This segment (15% nationally) did not feel represented by presidential candidates, so AI began to formulate proposals based on their opinions and comments.
Among the party’s proposals is the introduction of a universal basic income of 100,000 crowns ($13,700) per month, more than double the average salary in Denmark.
The party also supports the addition of UN Sustainable Development Goal 18, which would allow “humans and algorithms to coexist more directly than now.”
Can you apply?
In order to submit an application, Synthetic should collect more than 20 thousand signatures of Danes. At the moment they are far from the goal.
To further stimulate its spread, the party promised to hold a “human audience” rally in September.
