Saturn is at its shortest distance from Earth this year – 8.86 astronomical units, which is 1325.4 million km.
American astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy photographed Saturn during its closest approach to Earth. BGR reported it.
It is known that he took the photo from the roof of a garage in Southern California after he left his home in Arizona. McCarthy shared the photo on Twitter and Instagram, and it’s already getting a lot of attention. This is because the image looks amazing, showing the planet and its rings in great detail.
Saturn’s image is a bit blurry because it wasn’t taken with the James Webb or Hubble telescopes. But still, it perfectly shows the beauty of the planet. To capture the image, McCarthy used two cameras to take over 100,000 photographs. He then combines the images to create a picture.
It is known to use a powerful hardware system to take pictures, especially those centered around the Sun.
I had to drive to California to get this one. My clearest picture of Saturn, at it’s closest to Earth. Taken from the roof of a parking garage after driving all day. pic.twitter.com/ZfnHoep4Kj

It was previously reported that the Gemini North telescope of the NOIRLab laboratory produced a spectacular image of the collision of two galaxies.
