New daily quests, PvE areas and a new mechanic are among the new features implemented in the expansion. Check out!
The Black Desert Online expansion, Endless Winter, arrived on the 6th with a series of new content. To prevent you from missing any of these news, we have prepared this guide with some tips and suggestions to ensure the most complete experience possible.
1. Audio is a key part of an immersive story
It may seem obvious, but make sure the sound is on at all times as you progress through the Endless Winter Mountain quests. In addition to the exquisite work in the production of the soundtrack, the expansion comes with audio in English and subtitles in Portuguese.
2. Supply your stocks with daily quests
Eilton City Quests are straightforward and can be completed quickly. You can exchange Oxiterr Crystals, obtained from these daily quests, for Ultimate Cooking Utensils/Alchemy Tools.
— It is possible to obtain up to 23 Energy points through the new knowledge available in the region.
— Upon completing the main campaign, the player will receive the Bronte’s Lightning Earring, which has 12AP and 28 Accuracy points. (Limited to one per family).
— If you obtain the Unlit Witch Emblem while hunting in the region, head to Erethea’s Oblivion to enjoy the special experience of breaking through a dungeon in Endless Winter Mountain and getting a great reward.
— Additional Caphras Stones can be obtained by completing PvE (Player versus Environment) daily quests. Below you can check the amount of stones according to the quest line:
- Okjinese: 20
- Mrowek: 30
- Winter Fossils: 17
- Erethea’s Oblivion: 20
3. Don’t forget about unique rewards
In Mountain of Endless Winter, it is possible to obtain the Five-Colored Stone of Light, which can be used to create various combinations of Stone of Light, Flame of Frost and Ember of Burning Ice. These, in turn, can be used to craft the Helm of the Deceased God and the Helm of Labreska.
4. New mechanics in the region
When you come across a blizzard while hunting, head into it and you’ll come across the mighty boss Erebok. Defeat him to get Frostflame or Burning Ice Ember as a reward.
5. Make the most of the new PvE areas!
With the new expansion, new regions are also available. Below you can learn a little more about each of them.
— Mrowek’s Labyrinth: This labyrinth was once a rich and plentiful iron mine, but is now ruled by Queen Vercedes and her loyal Mrowek legion.
— Starlight Jade Forest: The Okjinese, who are said to have been born from Labreska’s tears, consider the Starlight Jade Forest their home. It seems that some recent event has caused the Okjinese to behave differently.
— Shadow Winter’s Guardian, Erebok: Erebok is not a region, but a creature, which can be found in the Mountain of Endless Winter. Its mention here is precisely because of what comes with it… Be aware if you come across a blizzard, know that there is something much more dangerous inside it.
