The CEO of the company named hypersociala company that specializes in optimizing social media posts has gone viral after sharing a photo of him crying. LinkedIn after laying off dozens of people in his company.
“This is going to be the most vulnerable thing I will ever share,” Braden Wallake said in a post that has already been called “hypocritical.”

“We had to lay off some employees. I have seen many layoffs in LinkedIn and most of them are due to the economy or other reasons. Our? My fault, ”the publication begins.
“In days like today, I wish I could be a business owner who only cares about money and doesn’t care who he hurts along the way. But I’m not like that. insensitive and don’t care when they have to fire people. I’m sure there are hundreds and thousands like me,” he says.
Criticism rains down
The post received mixed reactions from users. LinkedIn after it went viral and garnered over 29k likes as of Wednesday afternoon.
“It’s all theater, shame,” said the follower. “A real empathetic and compassionate person would never think of posting a crying selfie,” said another.
However, others have praised Wallace’s vulnerability, with one commenter suggesting that it would increase the chances of laid-off employees being hired.
“It is incredibly important of you to be vulnerable and express your feelings. Hopefully people can get something out of this and hopefully we’ll see more posts like this, especially from men in high positions,” wrote one marketer.
