A space object called 2016 CZ31 does not meet the criteria for a potentially hazardous asteroid.
An asteroid with a diameter of about 122 meters on Saturday, July 30 at 02:02 Kyiv time will fly by the Earth. Newsweek reported it.
It is noted that the space object will approach our planet by only 2.8 million kilometers, which is almost seven times the average distance between the Earth and the Moon.
As for the speed of movement, the asteroid will move at an incredible speed of about 55.5 kilometers per hour. This is about 17 times faster than a bullet from a weapon, and about one-fifth faster than a bolt of lightning.
It was previously reported that an asteroid the size of a bus would fly by Earth at a very short distance.
