The telescope Hubble and James Webb took unique pictures of the NGC 4449 Dwarf Galaxy, which, despite the small size, undergoes a starship period.
The Khabble Space telescope has created a new image of the bright dwarf Galaxy NGC 4449, located in the constellation Posov Pastukhi – 12.5 million light years from the ground.
The galaxy is included in the same group as our Milky Way – M94, and although it has a smaller size, it is surprisingly active. Due to the high rate of developing new stars, it is called a galaxy-spray.
The peculiar NGC 4449 is that, unlike other similar galaxies, where the stars are born mainly in the middle, here the bright stars are evenly distributed throughout the structure. These astronomers suggest the result of recent relationships with nearby galaxies.
Hubble’s new image fits into 2007 data and contains information from many lengths, allowing scientists to mastered the brightest stars not only in the NGC 4449, but also in twelve -two neighboring spaces.
James Webb did not stand up. Thanks to his infrared instruments, he showed how cosmic dust threads, illuminated by radiation of newborn stars, expanding throughout the galaxy.
Such multilayer observations in the optical and infrared range will help to better understand the processes of stars formation, the structure of the interstellar medium and the influence of gravitational contact with the development of new star systems.
Earlier it was reported that Hubble had created a wonderful image of a distant IC 758 Galaxy, located in the constellation Big Bear.
