Asteroid sizes and the distance to our planet are approaching “potentially dangerous”, but not so.
Near the world on Wednesday, April 16, the Asteroid 2011 VG9 will fly, NASA (JPL) reactive laboratory reports.
According to NASA, the length of the heavenly object is 135.1 meters. The distance from 2011 VG9 to our planet was 4,659,699 km.
If the asteroid approaches the ground at a distance of less than 7.5 million km, and its size exceeds 150 m, consider NASA a “potentially dangerous thing”.
Remember, on April 11, an asteroid 2023 KU flew near the ground, which was 116.6 meters long.
Earlier it was reported that the James Webb Telescope was first photographed by Polar Radiance in Neptune.
