The problem is the inconsistencies between the expected calorie consumption and the lack of actual energy, researchers say.
Scientists are tied to the artificial sweetener of sumralose with another potential negative health effect, reports a science alert.
In a random cross examination, when a group of 75 adults drinks a drink containing sucolosis, they have an enhanced blood flow to the hypothalamus – a part of the brain that helps control appetite and longing for food.
On the other hand, when both participants drink a drink with sucrose (table sugar), the effect of annealing hunger is observed. The peripheral level of glucose increases dramatically, corresponding to a reduction in blood flow to the hypothalamus. Two hours after using sucrose, participants reported a significant lower hunger level than after consumption of sucolosis.
The data obtained, confirmed by previous studies in rodents, suggest that non -core sweeteners may not be useful for losing weight or reducing craving for long -term sugar. In fact, they seem to be changing the hypothalamus communication technique in other parts of the brain.
Researchers believe that the problem is the disagreement between the expected consumption of the calorie brain and the lack of actual energy. Sourlose is 600 sweeter than sucrose, but with zero calorie content and does not cause a glucose or hormone, insulin and glucagon -like peptide -like peptide to tell the brain that you have used calories to reduce the feeling of hunger. As a result, prolonged consumption of sugar-substitutes may change the brain’s reaction to the consumption of such substances, and the reaction differences are more pronounced in participants of obesity.
Currently, scientists are conducting an additional study to see exactly how success affects the brain of children and adolescents.
The study was published in the journal Nature Metabolism.
We will remind you, earlier it was reported that Canada had been restored to sight thanks to a unique operation.
