Japanese automakers, led by Toyota Motor, have launched bioethanol production in an experimental plant in Fukushima Prefecture, reports Nikkei Asia.
The factory works under the leadership of the Biomass Research Association for the fuel of the future generation, which includes Toyota, Suzuki, Subaru, Daihatsu, Mazda, Toyota Tsusho and the Eneos oil company.
The purpose of the project is to reduce the trace of carbon of cars with internal combustion engines and expand their existence during electric vehicles, because, unlike electric vehicles that reduce leaks only for new cars, bioethanol can reduce leaks for millions of cars with interior -burn cars.
Bioethanol has long been used in fuel mixtures, giving you to reduce CO2 leaks without modernizing a car. In an experimental plant, they tried to find a more friendly and stable way to produce such fuel.
