The first heart retransplantation in Ukraine was performed at the Heart Institute in Kyiv. This was reported by the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The operation was successfully performed by a team of doctors from the Heart Institute, in particular Boris Todurov, Maxim Taranov, Anton Shpachuk, Sofia Chaikovskaya, Alexander Revenko, Nikolai Melnik, Shabanov David, Stepan Marunyak. The transplant coordinator is Anna Melnik.
