Meta said it was “working to get things back to normal as soon as possible.”
Users report problems with Meta services: Facebook (and Messenger), Instagram and WhatsApp. The number of service error messages reaches tens of thousands. This is confirmed by data from the DownDetector service.
Users are complaining about the inability to send WhatsApp messages and problems logging in to Facebook and Instagram.
The Verge also writes about problems with Threads.
Reuters said that some users of Facebook and Instagram started writing to the social network X after encountering a login error: the messages appeared that “something went wrong” and that “Meta is working on – fix.”
Subsequently, Meta commented on the failure on the social network X.
“We understand that a technical issue is affecting some users’ ability to access our apps. We are working to get things back to normal as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience,” the company said in a statement.
We remind you that on September 10 there was a failure in Telegram.
