NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were aboard the Starliner. They are going to the International Space Station.

United Launch Alliance launched an Atlas V rocket carrying a Boeing Starliner spacecraft with two NASA astronauts on board. Space.com reported it.

Atlas V was launched on June 5 at about 18:00 Kyiv time from the cosmodrome in Florida.

NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were aboard the Starliner. They are heading to the International Space Station (ISS). The ISS expects them on June 6 at 19:15 Kyiv time.

Starliner will spend about 10 days attached to the ISS before returning to Earth.

Let’s remember that last year the American private space company SpaceX sent another batch of payload for NASA astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).

It was previously reported that on May 31, the Crew Dragon spacecraft returned space tourists to Earth after spending ten days on the International Space Station.
