“We report the successful implementation of a unique surgical intervention in the ENT department of our hospital to restore the shape of the nose after traumatic avulsion of the tip of the nose. The patient underwent restoration of the tip of the nose using the movement of a pedunculated skin flap with a feeding artery from the frontal area,” the message said.
The patient’s nasal cartilage was also restored using his own nasal septum cartilage.
The postoperative period passed without complications.
