The American company SpaceX and the US National Aeronautics and Exploration Administration launched the PACE satellite from NASA into space on February 8. About that reported American management of the social network X.
It was noted that the PACE space satellite aims to study microscopic organisms in the ocean and particles in the air. SpaceX later confirmed the deployment of the satellite in its planned orbit.
For the next three years, PACE will monitor and collect data on Earth’s atmosphere and oceans, extending NASA’s long-term observations.
According to SpaceX, the satellite was launched using a Falcon 9 rocket, and the first stage of the rocket successfully returned to Earth.
