Scientists have discovered an asteroid flying over the capital of Germany even before it exploded on the Earth’s surface.
It was called 2024 BXI. The asteroid was first discovered by Hungarian astronomer Christian Sarnecki. He identified the space rock using the 60 cm Schmidt telescope.
In the city of Leipzig in northern Germany, a CCTV camera recorded this bright meteor.
