All galaxies in the image are shown with sufficient detail and clarity, despite the fact that the instrument is already 33 years old.
The Hubble Space Telescope captured a picture of a random cluster of galaxies. They lined up in a line. Universe Today writes about it.
It was noticed that on the left and right in the upper part of the photograph two large and bright galaxies can be seen interacting with each other. They are called Arp-Madore 2105-332 and are located at a distance of about 200 million light years from us.
In addition, each of the galaxies has its own name. The large spiral galaxy on the left is called 2MASX J21080752-3314337. The other is 2MASX J21080362-3313196.
“Under the galaxy on the left, you can see several smaller spiral galaxies aligned in a line. But in fact, they are not related to the pair Arp-Madore 2105-332 and are located far from Earth. The Hubble Space The telescope captured such a spectacle by accident, when some background galaxies were positioned in such a way that they appeared to be falling from the large spiral galaxy above,” the report said.
We remind you that Hubble earlier took a picture of an irregular galaxy in the constellation Aries.
