Starship’s second test flight is scheduled to take off on Friday, November 17, from SpaceX’s launch site in Texas.
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a license to SpaceX for the second test launch of the Starship rocket system. This was stated in a message from SpaceX.
“The FAA has issued a license for the second launch of the SpaceX Starship Super Heavy vehicle. The FAA has determined that SpaceX meets all safety, environmental, policy and financial responsibility requirements,” the US agency said in a statement.
It was noted that the second test flight of Starship is scheduled to be launched on Friday, November 17, from the SpaceX launch site in Texas, within a two-hour window that will open at 16.00 Kyiv time. Additional windows will open on November 18 and 19.
We remind you that the first test orbital flight of Starship was supposed to take place on April 17, but it was canceled 40 seconds before launch due to problems with one of the carrier pressure valves.
On April 20, the experimental Starship rocket developed by SpaceX exploded in the Gulf of Mexico four minutes after launch.
