From space, the pit resembles the shape of a glowing skull and “looks” directly into the orbital chamber.
NASA has revealed a “creepy” photo of a caldera in the shape of a skull. It was recorded in the Sahara Desert, reports Space.
A caldera is a volcanic cone that has sunk into the depths. From space, the pit resembles the shape of a glowing skull and “looks” directly into the orbital chamber.
The shot was taken by an astronaut aboard the International Space Station (ISS) on February 12, when the spacecraft passed over the Tibesti mountains. This ridge runs through the middle of the Sahara Desert through Chad and Libya.
The object itself is located under the Trou aux Natrona, about a thousand meters wide.
Let’s remember that earlier in Italy a series of earthquakes shook a supervolcano.
