On September 27, China successfully launched the Yaogan-3304 Earth remote sensing satellite, the fourth in this series of spacecraft, into low-Earth orbit. This was reported by Xinhua.
It was noted that the Long March-4C launch vehicle with the satellite on board was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. Yaogan-3304 successfully entered its planned low-Earth orbit.
Today’s launch is the 489th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
The new spacecraft will be used for scientific experiments, exploration of marine and land resources, assessment of agricultural efficiency, prevention of natural disasters and elimination of their consequences.

The Long March-4C is a three-stage liquid-fueled launch vehicle capable of launching up to three tons of payload into low-Earth orbit.
