Falcon 9 launched 21 Starlink satellites into orbit

The launch vehicle took off from the site at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched another batch of 21 mini-satellites for the Starlink system into orbit. The company announced this on September 12 SpaceX.

It was noted that the launch was carried out from the launch pad at the US Vandenberg Space Force base in California on Monday at 23:57 US Pacific time (09:57 Kyiv time).

The first multiple-stage launch vehicle, used for the eleventh time, made a controlled vertical landing on an offshore drone platform in the Pacific Ocean.

Note that in total SpaceX has conducted 107 launches of Internet satellites since May 2019 as part of the Starlink project (38 since the beginning of this year). During this time, more than 5 thousand devices were launched into orbit, some of which failed or were lost.

Today almost 4.7 thousand mini-satellites remain in space in order.
