The Indian probe Chandrayaan-3 showed the far side of the moon

Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) Chandrayan-3 probe has sent back new images of the far side of the moon. They were published on the social network Twitter.

It is known that the images were taken by the LHDAC camera, with the help of which researchers can determine the safety of the spacecraft’s landing zone.

The start of the landing is scheduled for the morning of August 23. The probe may be the first spacecraft to make a soft landing in the area.

“These are the images of the far side of the Moon captured by the Lander Detection and Avoidance Camera (LHDAC). This camera, which during descent helps to determine a safe place for landing on the surface without much rock and craters, have been developed by ISRO,” the message said. .

Earlier it was reported that the Indian station Chandrayaan-3 (Chandrayan-3) successfully entered the orbit of the moon.
