The newest RPG game in the Harry Potter universe has gained gameplay trailer and release date; check out!
Warner Bros. Games and NetEase announced on Tuesday, the 20th, that the newest role-playing game set in the wizarding universe of Harry Potter will be released on the 27th of June. The game, titled “Harry Potter: Awakens the Magic”, also had the gameplay trailer released. Check out!
The game will take place ten years after the Battle of Hogwarts, and will be a wizard’s duel. All players will experience the milestones of being a Hogwarts student, such as being assigned to one of the houses, taking classes, exploring the Forbidden Forest, and more. In addition, each player will have to master the spells and create strategies.
The role-playing game, which will feature collectible cards, will be free-to-play (CCG) and multiplayer (MMO), and will be available for iOS and Android devices. Players who pre-registered before the global launch will receive exclusive rewards as soon as they start playing.
“Harry Potter: The Magic Awakens” is co-developed and co-published by Warner Bros. Games and NetEase Games. The title will be released by Portkey Games, which is the label dedicated to creating new experiences and games in the Wizarding World.
