SpaceX, owned by American entrepreneur Elon Musk, launched a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The BADR-8 telecommunications satellite of the Arabsat operator, headquartered in Saudi Arabia, was successfully launched into orbit. The company announced this on Twitter on Saturday, May 27.
The launch took place at 07:30 Kyiv time from the 40th launch complex at the US Space Force base at Cape Canaveral in Florida.
The first stage of the rocket successfully landed on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship 8 minutes after liftoff.
