Twitter will add new features – calls and encrypted messages coming to the platform. This was said by the executive director of Twitter Inc. Elon Musk, according to Reuters.
“Voice and video chat is coming so you can chat with people anywhere in the world without giving them your phone number,” Musk said.

A version of encrypted direct messages will be available on Twitter starting May 10, Musk said.
Twitter is also beginning a cleanup process, namely deleting and archiving accounts that have been inactive for years.
In the past, Twitter returned the “blue check” without paying for a subscription to some accounts with more than a million followers.
It has also been reported that Twitter is introducing content monetization.
