Astronomers say that at least a small part of the blackout will be visible with their own eyes to more than 80% of the world’s population.
The eclipse will begin at 18:14 Kyiv time, its peak is expected at 20:22, and end at 22:31. Most of the eclipse of the Moon is below the horizon, but its final phase is also visible in Ukraine.
The lunar eclipse can be observed without the use of special equipment, but binoculars or telescopes can help improve visibility.
