instagram introduced a new feature called “Spontaneous Stories”which offers the same procedure as the social network Be realin which users have to upload a photo taken by the front and rear cameras at the same time after being notified.

stories about instagram They are presented as “a quick and easy way to share moments and experiences” that allows you to share text, music, “stickers” and GIFs with users registered as subscribers on the platform.

These images or videos have a duration of 24 hours, are placed at the top of the social network interface and can be hidden from the right contacts – through the privacy settings – and also pinned to account profile.

Now the company is preparing a functionality similar to that which characterizes Be real, another social network that authenticates photos and has a daily alert system. Once notified, users have a limited amount of time to upload an image taken from both the main and selfie cameras. Curious, Be real was named “anti instagram”.

instagram took this characterization as a benchmark for his Spontaneous Stories, a tool that some users have already been able to try, as promoted by social media analyst and consultant Matt Navarra, who echoed what shared journalist Diego Poggi.

Through Twittershared a screenshot of a notification that indicates to social network users that it is possible to use this feature, which is presented as a “new way to see random moments of everyday life” from other contacts.

After receiving notification from instagramusers will have five minutes to “just in time” capture what they are doing, both from the rear and front cameras.

For other users to see this picture, they must share their own. Regarding their duration, spontaneous stories will remain on the user’s profile until the notification they receive the next day.

In addition, users will be able to consult their own from the main interface through a tab called Spontaneous, which is different from the regular stories on the platform.
