Bob Knodelprominent supporter terraplaningspent the sum of 20 thousand dollars to try to prove that the earth is flatbut only managed to demonstrate the roundness of the planet.
All of the evidence was recorded in a Netflix documentary called “Beyond the Curve” and “surprised” the defender of the theory.
This was his test.
The DIY test was done with a laser gyroscope and involved using the camera to shoot through two holes five kilometers apart, with a person standing on the other side and lighting the camera with a flashlight.
Knodel stated that if light could be seen with a camera, holes in the fence, and a torch at the same distance above the ground, then he could positively conclude that the earth is flataccording to daily mail.
However, in a humorous and costly turn of events, no light was visible, causing Mr. Knodel to mutter an awkward “interesting” after the mistake.
“What we found is that when we turned on this gyroscope, we found that we were picking up drift. Drift 15 degrees per hour,” he said in a YouTube video. “Obviously we weren’t ready to accept this, so we started looking for ways to disprove that it was indeed recording the movement of the Earth,” he added.
He didn’t change his mind
The failed experiment has since gone viral on Reddit, with people noting that even after the experiment, Mr. Knodel continued to use “brain gymnastics” to claim his conspiracy theory was still correct.
Unfortunately the protector terraplaning He passed away just a few days ago, and hundreds of subscribers have left their condolences on his YouTube channel.
