CEO Mansana, Tim Cooksays he starts his day at 5 am by reading emails and comments from the company’s customers.
As stated G.K.he does this because he wants to understand how his technology affects people’s lives, “for better or for worse.”
Tim Cook Day
“If, like us, you’re in the business of creating technology that really enriches people’s lives, you want to know what they’re doing,” he said. “You want to know what people think about it.”
Cook is one of the few CEOs of major tech companies whose email address is open to the public. Jeff Bezos, the former CEO and founder of Amazon, followed suit.
“Of course I get complaints too,” he added. “It’s also great because I want to stay on top of what our users think they’re feeling.”
According to Cook’s profile G.K.frequently forwards these emails to other employees Mansana find out the opinion of the public about the actions of the company.
The most special letter you received
Tim Cook in this story, he described a particularly “touching” letter he received on the very day of the interview.
The sender had a seizure while driving and crashed it, but the iPhone 14’s fault detection system caused the device to call emergency services when they were unable to do so. In an email, a user thanked him for this life-saving feature.
This way of starting the day is different from other technology leaders. Mark Zuckerberg starts the day by reading Facebook, and Elon Musk “eats a donut every morning.” Jeff Bezos claims to read the newspaper and have breakfast with his kids, while Bill Gates starts the morning on the treadmill.
