Microsoft calls the system Copilot and says it will “revolutionize the way we work.”
The technology behind the ChatGPT artificial intelligence system has been added to Microsoft 365 software. On Thursday, March 16, the BBC reports.
It was noted that Microsoft called a similar system Copilot and said it would be built into Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said it would “fundamentally change the way we do business.”
However, the company acknowledges that Copilot can sometimes make mistakes.
Features of this program include:
-
Covering the main talking points about meeting software, Teams;
-
Create PowerPoint presentations with images;
-
Drafting letters;
-
Analysis of long streams of e-mail and documents;
-
Create data summaries and graphs in Excel spreadsheets.
However, sometimes these answers are inaccurate or contain completely fictitious information.
The founding firm acknowledges that Copilot can also be “usefully imprecise” at times.
“We all want to focus on the 20% of our work that is really important, but 80% of our time is spent on work that makes us tired. The copilot lightens the load,” the tech giant said in a statement.
Recall that in February, a chat bot with artificial intelligence ChatGPT became available in Ukraine.
