Taiwanese tech giant foxconn confirmed on Saturday that its president had visited India, but denied reaching any “final agreement” to invest in new telephone factories. iPhone Apple in this country, according to local authorities.
foxconn is the largest electronics manufacturer in the world and the main manufacturer of phones of the Californian brand, which, like the Taiwanese company, is trying to diversify its production beyond China.

The Taiwan Group said on Saturday that its chairman, Yang Liu, visited India between February 27 and March 4, but that the company “has not entered into any binding and definitive agreements for the new investment.”
