Microsoft is hard at work on the next version of Windows, which is known internally as “Next Valley” and may be released under the name Windows 12. And now you may have seen what it looks like in the official image.
Users have noticed that Microsoft published an updated version of the Windows user interface, which was shown in a short cutout from Ignite 2022an annual developer conference held at the end of each year.
Is not?
During an accident involving crews Microsoftviewers caught a glimpse of an unfamiliar desktop with a floating taskbar and system icons in the upper right corner.
The screenshots show a floating search bar in the top center of the screen and weather in the top left corner.
The design is a far cry from Windows 11, where the taskbar remains static. Microsoft (where the system icons are also hidden) and leaves the top of the screen completely blank. Viewers of the event immediately noticed the inconsistency and took to Twitter, where they wondered if the interface had anything to do with Windows 12which is expected to launch in 2024.
Details
Intentionally or not, the interface gives viewers an idea of what to expect from Microsoft in the coming years.
Sources central windows indicate that Microsoft it hopes to develop a more touch-friendly operating system without sacrificing any part of the mouse and keyboard, a balance the company has struggled to find in the past. This matters not only for the operating system, but can also say something about hardware targets. Microsoftespecially since you’re still working on a 2-in-1 Surface device.
