Butch Marion, Cumberland, Md. was finally able to retire after receiving a check for $108,682 in online GoFundMe donations.
“As a business owner and knowing how difficult it was to find good help for my business, I was shocked to see this little older man still working 8-9 hour shifts,” McCarthy wrote on the crowdfunding page.
The video, in which he talks about the old man, was uploaded on December 16 and has received 3.3 million views to date.
