Twitter working on payment system which will accept debit cards, bank accounts and, in the future, cryptocurrencies.
In accordance with Financial Times, Twitter obtains all regulatory approvals required to make peer-to-peer payments.
Twitter as fintech
Now under command Elon Musk, Twitter wants to offer financial services such as debit cards and bank accounts.
The move comes as Musk actively supports globalist apps such as WeChat, a Chinese service that operates as a messaging service, social media platform and payment tool.
For example, at Twitter Blue, he wants users to be able to send money to another person on the social network by linking their bank account.
Bank accounts, for their part, may come later, when debit cards or checks may be included, as companies like Apple do.
