In addition to accounts banned for cheating, the game also removed more than 72,000 devices and social media ads.
THE PUBG MOBILE announced last Wednesday, the 27th, the banning of exactly 8,084,505 accounts in the 1st quarter of 2022 through the Ban Pan Anti-Cheat System. During the entire year of 2021, the battle royale recorded just over 59 million banned accounts, where most of these bans were carried out thanks to the community that helped with reports, and participating as an investigator in the game.
In addition to accounts, PUBG MOBILE has also banned 72,201 devices and 53,125 ads with over 99 million followers and views. Social media ads were taken from YouTube (60,259), Instagram (8,321) and Facebook (1,829) respectively.
Through Ban Pan, players themselves can report and become an investigator through the “Ban” area within the game. You can follow the step-by-step guide on how to become an investigator here, and report cheat announcements via this form.
The main reasons for banning during Q1 2022 were:
- Auto-aim hacks (13%)
- X-ray vision hacks (11%)
- Area damage modification (5%)
- Speed hacks (4%)
- Other reasons (3%)
PUBG MOBILE has already stated that it strives to provide all players with a fair and balanced environment, with the Safe Zone allowing the community itself to help with reports of cheating, further protecting the game, and providing a great experience for everyone.
In addition to Ban Pan, the game has also implemented the Competitive Ban System in its official championships to ensure a fair gameplay experience in all tournaments. This new global system detects players who undermine the integrity of competitions and distributes punishments accordingly, including permanent bans for players who use cheat programs in championships.
PUBG MOBILE can be downloaded for free from App Store and Google Play Store.
