An Egyptian archaeological mission discovered a group of family tombs from the Thirteenth Dynasty of the Second Intermediate Period during excavations at the Dra Abu al-Naga cemetery in west Luxor.

Experts note that this find sheds light on the most important ancient city of Egypt, which is a continuation of the ancient city of Thebes.
