Huge cloud A flying saucer-shaped rose has frightened thousands of residents of Bursa, a province in northwestern Turkey.
As seen in various social media footage, the cloud floats over the city on January 19, causing surprise among its viewers.

Several social media users noted that the cloud resembles UFO due to its saucer shape and bright red color.
Others have expressed skepticism about the photos circulating online, with some asking if it was a prank.
“It looks like UFO, nature is really amazing,” said one user.
Why was this cloud like this?
Meteorologists called this phenomenon lenticular clouds, an event said to be common in places with high mountains. It is Bursa that is located at the foot of Uludag Mountain.
According to NASA, “Lenticulars form when strong winds blow over difficult terrain, causing water vapor in the air mass to alternately contract, then decompress, and thus condense into shapes that roughly reflect the land below.”
It’s not the first time lenticular clouds they go viral on the internet.
In February 2020, a saucer-shaped cloud similar to that of Bursa was seen in Weed, California. Weed is located near Mount Shasta, which may explain why cloud in the town.
