Elon Musk praised the activist Greta Thunberg after she responded to the scandalous influencer Andrew Tate.
Tesla’s CEO tweeted that “the most brand awareness Greta has achieved in just a few short years is astounding,” in response to a Babylon Bee satirical article titled “Tesla’s New Thermostat.” Greta Thunberg frowns when you turn on the heat.”

Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Romania on Thursday in connection with allegations of human trafficking and rape, which they deny. They and two Romanians will be detained for 30 days.
Musk’s comments can be seen as a reaction to a suggestion this week by economist Paul Krugman that Musk’s turn to the political right has led to disagreements with Tesla’s core customer base of wealthy and environmentally conscious liberals.
